Are there any phones with a cover on the front lens?

Thanks. I wonder why the phone makes a notification sound (like a bubble bursting) frequently whenever I'm travelling. Normally I'm cycling, and it's in my rucksack so there's no way I'm going to stop and look at it when it does this. Is there some notification history I can look at? I'd like to turn it off.
