So I have upgraded one of my Optimus Ones (out of 2) to Gingerbread using this guide: Guide to Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread (CM7) on LG Optimus One P500 and left the other one at Froyo. I had a full charge on both at around 7 PM, turned on the Wifi and Bluetooth on both phones, and left them idle. The next day at around 10 AM I found out that the one with Gingerbread has turned itself off due to low battery while the one with Froyo still has around 90%. I thought Gingerbread is supposed to have better power management? Is this upgrade version a bad one? Or can it be that Gingerbread has some hidden power-draining processes that I did not turn off? Thanks in advance!
