What is the best apps to use on the OE to save on minutes? Thanks.

Google Voice + GrooveIP
Not sure if it is working on CDMA yet or not, but Vonage has an app for VoIP too.

Agreed I've been using this setup on 3 or 4 phones now, little bit of troubleshooting every now and then but once it's up and running very nice system, plus the bonus of being able to call/text through wifi is a major plus for me since where I live there's little to no service in a lot of places

I use Google Voice + Sipdroid and Viber ..... both configs are free and both work on WIFI and 3G. VoiceIP free version will not work on 3G. The paid version claims it will, but I never purchased it to find out.


Note: I had some trouble getting Sipdroid to receive calls. Changing the "time to voicemail" to one minute instead of 30 secs fixed everything for me.
