Best place to find the archos 101 online?

I wanna buy a bunch of these babies, and i keep "reading" about them being $300, but can't find it for that price anywhere

any tips?
 
archos.com has them available RIGHT NOW but I cant order one because it wants me to use a USA state and when I dont put one it says "select country from the drop down list" but thre is no country drop down list! does this mean they are currently only shipping to USA?

I am in Australia
 
archos.com appears to be sold out of 101s again. i sent an email asking about the web form, i knew this would happen though.

Try a different browser. One guy thought it was sold out until he opened it on another and managed to order.
 
I ordered mine from NewEgg on Saturday, and it arrived today (Tuesday).

update: Of course, the screen was defective, so it is going back to NewEgg tomorrow, and who knows when a replacement will arrive, as it's now out of stock.

(There is a section of the screen within which it does not perceive touches. If held landscape, imagine a vertical stripe which runs down through the "r" key on the virtual keyboard. The Archos tablet does not recognize any touches in this area. As you might imagine, this makes the tablet somewhat difficult to use!)

Using IE instead of Firefox its like almost a different website! The store looks totally different and clearly shows I can't buy almost everything from archos.com because of my location.

Looks like I should investigate someone else to buy from.
 
I cancelled my order at simply, and re-ordered from bestbuyuk as simply electronics seem to be mucking us about, have taken my money already and lied about stock levels.

bestbuy said to me on the phone that they had 20 16GB 101s in the warehouse.
Hopefully I will get it soon...
