Root Best S-ON Rom ?

Hi All, I'm probally going to man up and S-Off , but before I do are their any roms I can use without S-OFF .

Things I need , screenshot tool , wifi tether( although I'm paying for the extra gig of 4G/ tether ) , VM addware free .

I'm not that familiar with the Evo V specific ROM's, but I really like the Negalite BluROM and that can be flashed with S-ON. It has all of the things you are looking for.

Pretty much any rom can be flashed with S-on, the question is how easy it will be.

Sounds like Harmonia will fit what the op needs though.
Itr was designed with this exact situation in mind. While it has an improved kernel, it's optional. If it doesn't flash, the rom will run just fine without it, and will only incur a small, imperceptible performance hit. Beyond that it's stock, stripped of junk, with everything functional, including screenshot, 4g, 3d, and includes a working tether app.

Yeah you can Flash any Rom S-On or S-Off you just need to watch out for hboot compatibility and to change hboots you'l need S-Off ;)

S-On Roms?

Hrm...

Viper3D, Mobsterz, CoolROM, Harmonia, Mobsterz/Unsenseable...There's a LOT of S-On roms for you to use ;) Those are my personal favorites, in no particular order, since I really enjoy Sense. (I have a nandroid of all the above)

Your s-on and have a over clocked kernel? How'd you do that? What h-boot are you on?

Make sure that the kernel is compatible with your hboot. After that it's pretty simple using fastboot, just extract the boot.img from the rom that you're installing, place it in your adb folder and run: fastboot flash boot boot.img. :D

No, if you have s-off you can just flash the rom with the included kernel or a separate kernel right from recovery. Some s-on users have reported success using 4EXT with smart flash enabled, can't vouch for that considering that I've s-offed all of my HTC phones. Definitely recommend 4EXT recovery though. :D
