Accessories Best Screen Protector?

What screen protector is the best one? And to keep options diverse, what screen protector gives you the most bang for the buck? Basically, one that isn't an absurd price but does the job well.
 
I can not be certain. I have not used any of those brands of protectors. I like Boxwave and have not strayed since I applied my first one. They have a matte feel to them, no wet application, was only 14 bucks shipped, covers entire screen(buttons & all).
 
I also vote for Boxwave. I use them on all my devices, but I don't like the anti-glare one for phones. I use the crystal clear. When it's applied correctly you can't even tell you have a screen protector on. I do use the anti-glare on my Nook though ;)
 
i've had the invisheild on mine for about 3 weeks now. It seems to protect the screen very well. The feel of the protector is however something you'll need to get used to. My finger seems to get stuck or caught up when trying to swipe sometimes and it shows finger prints about as bad a naked screen.
 
The zagg is something i wouldnt recommend. i had one on my ipod and it felt almost like a window cling sticker for your car. i got a pack of three protectors off ebay for like five bucks. i think the material is PET material? ive had much better experience with them than anything else as for protection and durability. the one on my ipod has lasted me over a year without replacement.

+1 for Crystal Clear
 
I think all of the screen protector is made in China. The major difference is clear, mirror or privacy. It depends on your needs. Of course, mirror will make youe screen a bit dark.
 
I've tried the Seidio and the Steinheil so far, both in the crystal version. The Seidio has a very minor fit issue to the left and right of the ear speaker, other than that it fits very well. The Steinheil is cut a bit smaller than the Steinheil so there is a noticeable gap between where it ends and the bezel. They seem to offer equal screen clarity and so far as I can tell durability. Both have a very smooth texture and feel similar to each other.

Ideally I would like a protector with the durability and clarity of the Seidio and Steinheil but with a perfect fit.

I also have to agree with other members and place my vote for the Boxwave Crystal Clear protector. I've used the Zagg before on my previous phone and my Apple Nano iPod. But after using the Boxwave, I wouldn't use the Zagg again.
 
Ghost Armor is great, no orange peel, and smooth.

Easy to install if you're not an idiot who drenches the phone or protector in the solution.
 
Steinheil Ultra Crystal! Best screen protector I've ever used! I have had it on my EVO for about 3 weeks now and it has absolutely no scuffs or scratches (yet). Color me impressed! Probably not saying much though, since I used to use cheap azz WriteRight screen protectors...
 
I'm using the cheap ones from ebay like what's linked above and its very clear and easy to install. The cloth it comes with leaves lint on the screen tho so I wasted one because of that.

+1 Just put mine on today and it looks amazing. I know a lot of people messed up their first installation and had to use up the second protector from their pack, but the first install for me was a breeze!!

Super clear, super smooth, seems to actually fight off fingerprints a little bit better than the stock screen (maybe not as good as the anti-fprint one but still)...We will see how it holds up, but so far it is fantastic!!
 
I am not that happy with the Stenheil Ultra Crystal, to be honest. The clarity is great, but it gets really dirty really fast. It never seems to get clean; it is more like the fingerprints just smear around. I also don't like that there is a gap between the bezel and the screen protector.

I had the phantomskinz clear protector and it cleaned off pretty easy (just a wipe here and there), but it got bubbles under it and scratched up pretty easily.

I am still in the market for something crystal clear that cleans off pretty easily. I can deal with fingerprints, as long as they clean off and don't just smear around.
 
I picked up a new type of screen protector today. I was browsing at Radio Shack and noticed that they got some new EVO accessories in. They had a hard shell case and clear screen protectors in a 2 pack, both were HTC branded so they are not made by a 3rd party. I haven't applied them yet because my current Steinheil Ultra Crystal is just great but I bought the pack anyway for the future. I held one over my EVO and the fit looks PERFECT.
 
When I bought my phone used (for $350, came with Zagg screen protector, Pt hard case, extra battery, battery charger and HDMI cable - good deal?) with the Zagg already on it. It can feel slightly gummy but I have been happy with it. It has a lifetime warrenty, which I have already ordered a new one since this one came with a slight little bobble in the corner.

So if I am reading this thread right - it seems boxwave clear is the best? Can anyone who has used boxwave and others dispute that? There are just a lot of opinions on here, I'd like to see a review of each on.

Zagg - Pros: lifetime warrenty (costs 3.41 to replace), good fit, good transparency. Smudge resistance is medium. Cleanability good (easily wipes off with my shirt), protection, I don't know I have not tried but from the videos it seems very strong. People say application is a bitch? I dunno I'll find out when replacement arrives.

I've never used Boxwave, but i love the Steinheil Ultra Crystal protector i'm using. It's very smooth, crystal clear, and cleans off with a quick wipe to my shirt. Application isn't too bad either, it's cut a tad smaller than the actual size of the screen to aid in applying it, unlike some others that are cut to fit perfect making application a pain and often resulting in trimming off excess if the install isn't 100% perfect.
 
well my TURN!! to me.... it feels like zagg's screen protectors are sooooo cheaply made that they can give u a lifetime warranty. it costs them nothing to replace. :).


in my experience i started with zagg. and yea i was "happy" with it. But thats because i hadnt tried anyother brand.

my verdict. zagg sucks in comparison to boxwave.

zagg=one time application with wet spray adhesive, messy and much more prone to imperfections.

Boxwave= harder firmer material NO WET SPRAY NEEDED!! you can remove and reuse.

ive heard steinheil is good. but my reasoning why i went with boxwave is that the steinhiel screen protector for the evo doesnt have a cutout for the front camera :X . didnt wanna take the risk.
