Best sms app to have?

On the stock sms Ive had one constant problem since the turn of the year and its bugged me too much now.

Can anyone suggest an sms app? is Swiftkey all its cracked up to be or is there better ones out there?

I only tried one, GoSMS Pro, and i would not recommend it. Whatever you find, test it out right away. Good luck.:)
 
I have used Gosms pro coupled with swiftkey flow and couldn't be happier. Fully customizeable and no problems so far.
 
No and no mate :) not just for texting but for the emoji (smileys) and doodles, handwriting etc the other person has to be i think
 
GO SMS and handcent are MMS app replacement with more features. They aren't like other IM applications such as WhatsApp, which require an internet connection (data or WiFi). Go SMS has also a built in IM feature, which you can use if others have GO SMS installed and have an account activated.
 
Thanks logic. Ive just downloaded gosms and swiftkey swipe boom, thanks everyone had the same problem with stock sms app for the last 3 months so this will help muchly!!

I first thought it was like Whatsapp coz it asked me to invite instead just sms message them. But i came out of it and then just messaged as normal.
 
I have the paid version of Chomp. Honestly, if the developers would just add batch operations, I would be 100% satisfied with it. I hate getting backed up on threads and having to delete one at a time. I'll open the stock app for that.
 
The best thing with these apps is the customisation.
Ive got bad eyes and theyre worse when im drunk lol but font and colour can be set to any size/colour. Same with the background etc.
What was the problem with the stock app? Ive used Go for a long time so havent even tried stock
 
Chomp sms reset all my accounts for some reasons? ? Every time I loaded it all my email acounts and contacts disappeared
 
Do any of them include MAP? I had that on my DroidX and loved how it interacted with Sync in my truck. I miss it not being on this phone.
 
Hi guys, ive had a problem with my stock messaging app. I would send messages for days and then when send one and the message would go up like normal for 1 second but then disappear, the convo wouldnt be there. Press back and no conversations would be there.
Thats why i changed to this go sms, anyway ive just been texting and i sent a message looked back wasnt there, sent again but it wouldnt appear. This time though the conversation is there.

I had to restart phone, anyone know what i can do? as its the phone and not just the stock sms app
