Help Brazil and Wildfire

Oi,

I am in the market for a new phone and considering the HTC Wildfire. I live in Brazil and need an international phone. Does anyone know if this type of phone will work in Brazil (data and cell), currently it is not sold in Brazil. I believe the only phone sold by HTC (with Android OS) in Brazil, is the Magic.

Also, is there any other phones that I should consider in the price and quality realm as the HTC Wildfire.
