Help built in fm tuner??

ive read online in several places that our phones have built in fm tuners...and verizon won't let us use them?? what's the big deal? why won't the carrier unlock this so we can use it?

Because no one makes money from free airwaves.

They've started to remove it on HTCs that have had it elsewhere.

Try the app in the Play Store - go to Next Radio settings, turn off Internet to get pure FM tuner.

If it works, please let the devs know.

The FM tuner hardware is not present in the Turbo.

Meanwhile, Japan gets TV tuners.

I have the app on my Bionic. I have been trying it. It just constantly "is being launched" and does not throw an error message.

The excellent source you quoted (that I also use) says no.
