Help Can I back-up Apps so I don't so I don't lose my place in games?

I have to get a new EPIC as the face of mine shattered. Is there a way to back up my apps onto my computer and then re-load them onto the phone?

I'm guessing it would have to be done with a backup program. I happened to be reading another thread, and this post came up, which made me think of your question. He specifically mentions keeping your place in games:

Now, in terms of saving it on a computer and having it work on your new phone...that I'm unsure of. Give it a whirl and see what happens. Not the end of the world if you lose your place. Not nearly as bad as keeping a phone with a broken screen to keep your place in games

If you have mybackup pro it will backup apps and data. The file is saved on your card so if you pop it in a new phone, download the app then restore, you should be fine. Not sure if it works for all games, but I've switched out a few roms and it's kept my tank games stats.
