Help Can I get different "sounds" when.....

Just got the Optimus S from Sprint. Coming from a BB Tour. On the BB, I had certain people have different "sounds" so I knew if I received a text from my daughter, or son, or my boss. Also a different sound if they sent an email, so I knew if I wanted to check the phone right then or wait. I have not been able to figure out how to do that on this phone. I finally got the sounds changed for my different email accounts, but, not individual emails or texts....anyone done this?

Yeah unfortunately on Android OS you can only customize a ringtone for different people. You cannot make a different sound for people when they text or email you. Kind of a bummer. There may however be an app that will allow it, but I havent found any yet.
 
Sis has handsend loves it. deffently need to have diff sounds for each feature , not tied to One, why I am moving from the Moment to the OS for reasons other than that.
