I got my Samsung Galaxy Tab back today after repair - it had battery problems and when it was with Samsung they upgraded Android from Froyo to Gingerbread (2.3.3).
I'm reinstalling all the Apps and have come across a bit of a mystery - my old ringtones aren't showing up and the Tab even shows up differently in Windows Explorer.
I've tried making different folders on the sd card (eg media/ringtones etc) but none of the tones will show up on the Tab. I've even tried unmounting and remounting the card to get the media scanner to rescan it, but no joy.
Any ideas?
