Help Can't Adjust Home Screen Grid Size

Greetings, all. My Samsung Galaxy S8 home screen grid size is set to 3x4, and I cannot find a setting to change it. I bought the phone new from Amazon in October and put a Verizon Wireless sim card in it. When I go to the Home Screen Settings, there is not an option to adjust the grid size. Can anyone please help?

Thank you! I had no idea that "launcher" apps existed. This solved my problem, and I'm liking your suggestion of Nova launcher, too.
