Can't find working method for LG G PAD F 7.0

I recently upgraded from my old HTC EVO 4g LTE when I saw the "deal" for a tablet and lg g2 at my local sprint store. I might not root the phone for a while seeing as I'm having this much trouble finding a method for the tablet. so far I've tried towelroot and everything else seems to be a windows solution. I'd rather not try and root under wine. drink and derive or something like that. honestly I just want to pair a wiimote or sixaxis with it so I can play games
