Car charger compatibility

I have a 10 Viking Pro RCT6303W87 DK, and I recently bought a universal adapter to charge the unit in my car. My AC adapter that came with the unit is 5 volts, but the universal car charger has 4.5 and 6 volts as the closest options. Are either of these "close enough", or should I return this item to the store and seek other options?
