Root [CDMA] Facebook Home (official without any build.prop edits, does not require root)

Hello All.

Here we have A slightly modified version of Facebook Home.
Contained in this .rar is the facebook launcher and the Facebook app.
It will run seamlessly on the Evo 3D running 4x and above. (I have not personally tested on 2.3x)

This was not my work. It was not signed by me. I'm simply providing a download and instruction. All credit goes to theos0o over at XDA.

Step 1: Download the .rar Here

Step 2: Erase any versions of FB Home you have already, and any facebook apps.

Step 3: unrar either from your computer and transfer the apks over to your SD card or unrar with root explorer or file manager

Step 4: ensure install from non market is checked

step 5: Install Katana then FB home launcher.

Enjoy.

I tried your directions exactly... I have gone into apps/uninstall. Facebook only lets me uninstall updates but not the software itself... Suggestions?
