Scott, I will second your issues with TB. I used to be a HUGE fan of TB but it started to cause issues. I think what happens is it just starts to store so much crap that it gets all gummed up. Anyway, I do the manual restore as well....tedious but the more you do it the better you get at it....

Agreed! You know, I may just start writing the updater script to wipe that automatically.... Damn, thats a great idea! lol
 
I added a total of 60 battery variations to ROM Updater. There are 10 batteries x 6 overscroll colors each.

They are available in ROM Updater. I dont recommend trying to browse them all in ROM Updater because there are so many I created a showcase on my website so you can see what each battery and combination of overscroll colors looks like.

Check it out! Very cool!



The Best Never Rest!

Although I did this as meticulously as possible dealing with 60 different files and 60 different images to match can be a bit cumbersome. If you see a mismatched download let me know ASAP!

Do you think you can get the overscroll colors to change to whatever color the battery indicator is? How much would I have to donate to make that happen? LOL, kidding, kinda, nice update though, thx!!

I'm using the black chancery font, minds blown, jaws dropped, but I'm switching to vegie berger. Anyway, good job sir!!!
 
Quick Lookup added to ROM Updater! I just cant let a reasonable request go un-answered :D

Remember to Check Now when you launch ROM Updater so it shows up. Refer to post #2 for proper use of ROM Updater!
 
I have plenty of space on my phone but for some reason it won't let me install half of my apps i had on before. it says insufficient space on phone...

any ideas?

FULL WIPE and reinstall. Something from prior ROM is causing a conflict and it did not get wiped out properly. And dont restore anything from TI BU.
 
Scott...I am still running 2.1. I still receive calls while in airplane mode....and coincidently even though I am in airplane mode with the phone set to vibrate....my ringer activates when I receive said call in airplane mode!!!! Obviously the radio is still on and while I have not flown since I have flashed this ROM, I would imagine the radios are still on and that the battery would cook when I do fly.... Would 2.2 resolve this and have you ever heard of this??? This has happened more than once.

My initial assumption is yes, this could be a happening but has never been reported in 2.1. I belive it is (believe it or not) tied to the power menu mod that I fixed in 2.2. Can you do this... While on 2.1... Pull down your status bar and go to quick settings and tell me if some of the text is just gibberish?

I also confirmed airplane mode is working as it should in 2.2!

Ahahaha, the one about overscroll changing colors with battery level changes... No, its not unreasonable, its impossible! lol

Well, nothing is ever impossible but it would require a complete re-write of the HTC Sense framework to happen. This cant be pulled off without HTC releasing the source code (not kernel) and you can pretty much count on that NOT happening, lol. If they did there competitors would gobble it up, I am sure!

But it would be totally awesome if we could pull it off.

I have tomorrow off from work so I was going to troll around and find some purdy task bars icons to incorporate into some themes. If you have any suggestions post me some links and I will see what I can do.

i like the speed and snappiness of this. but a bug maybe. settings widgets dont show up, but they show under all htc widgets. full wipe 2x and same with cache and dalvik

as you can see in the pics, when i long press to add widget and look for a setting widget, the settings widget folder is empty but under all htc widgets they are there.
