So every time I back up my system using clock work, I can see the previous back up's dated and timestamped in case I ever wanted to go back further. I'm sure that this is taking up space on my phone, is there any way to delete old recovery images? Also on average how much does each recovery take up and where is it stored?

Yes they take up a crapload of space. Varies by your setup at the time but the 3 I have right now range from 350 to 500 MB. They're located on the SD card in Clockworkmod > Backups. Delete them using a file manager or move them to the PC if you want to keep them while freeing up card space. While you're at it, copy the contents of your Titanium folder to the PC also (if you use it). Never know when that could come in handy.
