Cog 3.04 to Cog 4.53 - Missing Preferences and Docks?

I just updated via RomManager from my old Cognition 3.04 build which I loved because it added the "Preferences" button where the current "Edit" button is and it had some awesome features. Also I was able to press and hold the dock icon at the bottom and change it to whatever I wanted, and in the previously mentioned "Preferences" field, it allowed you to set # of docks, and which page is your "Home Page"

Where are these features in Cog 4.53? Surely they didnt just remove all dock customization and removed all the preferences?

Thanks all, just frustrated because I cant find a link to the old Cognition 3.04 to reflash to or id just do that.
