Combine Chat and MMS in single App

I want an application that will combine data based chat services (google talk, steam, AIM, etc.) with my phone's text messaging (SMS, MMS). I think this would be a great way to simplify the user experience. I don't want to have 5 different applications that basically all do the same thing: send text.

If this already exists (ugh... I have looked) then please let me know. I'd love to check it out.
