Help Connectin htc desire hd to bluetooth radio in Peugeot 3008

Asterixxx

Lurker
I have a problem with my desire HD and my car bluetooth. So far I have managed to get my phone connected to the bluetooth of the car, and I can receive calls and even make calls using the phone (but not the car command functions). When I do so it displays only about 4 correspondants in the list. I think it gets them from somewhere but not from the actual place where all my contacts are stored. Is it getting them from my phone, from my google account on my phone ? Or from somewhere else ? I have tried everything from the phone and the car side with no avail. To safely make calls from the car I should be able to use the steering wheel commands which means the car has to be able to read my made calls and contacts.
I connected my wife's phone (normal nokia phone) and immediately I had all her calls and all het contacts on the display and could use the steering wheel commands.

Kind regards,
Asterixxx

Hi Asterixxx!

Did you solve this? Having similar probs myself. (Peugeot 508SW + HTC HD2).

Seems like contacs listed as "favorite" is not included in the list.

nope, probllem is stilll not solved, on the contrary, problem is getting worse an d more confusing. Soimetimes I get a connection with my contacts, sometimes with my mad e calls, sometimes no connection, ands sometimes no sound connection. Nor HTC niether Peugeot can formulate a sollution. I think they are hoping that I wille stop harassing them. In the meantime it remains a problem.

I've read elsewhere about similar problems and the 'calls' issue was solved by NOT downloading any contacts. (And I did see you'd prefer them on the car radio). Have you tried that?

Dave

A little update: seems like missing contacts are not related to any kind of groupings at all. Shitty thing! Gonna try calling later... Still havnet tried that :P

Are your contacts saved to SIM or in the HTC contacts app thingy? I had a similar problem with Mercedes. If they were SIM contacts, the system worked fine. Phone contacts/HTC were a bit of an issue unless they were in the call in/out history.

I had problems connecting with a parrot hands-free in my Honda CRV, too.
Finally, in my Google contacts I "starred" the contacts that I wanted to access via the phone and from then on...no problems.
Hope this helps.
