I've only been using an Android phone for 4 days now so bear with me. After manually entering my contacts (by: First Name, Last Name, Phone) I was surprised to see that all of the contacts are listed alphabetically by first name. How can I sort my contacts by Last Name?

I quick search dealt with older phones that only had one field for the name. The GS2 has two fields (first and last) so Im hoping there is a way (other than calling my father-in-law "Young Gary." That would be ironic because he is quite "old."

Young Gary, lol, Go to your contacts and then hit the menu button ( the first of the four touch screen buttons), from there select "more", and then "display options", and there you go. I had the same problem as i have only had iPhones. Takes a bit to get used too. Enjoy!

That worked. My first attempt I "displayed" the last name first but they were still sorted by first name. Then I found another option to "sort" by last name. Thanks again.
