Contacts Sync question

Hello,

I have a general question about my contacts on hero syncing to my google account. I have a small concern but it might not even be an issue.

Scenario would be as follows, I accidently delete a google contact or indeed all my google contacts on the phone whilst connected to the internet, the phone then runs a sync operation, would this mean the one or indeed all my contacts would be deleted from gmail account? If so is there anyway of getting the deleted contacts back in gmail?

You can import/export google contacts via the gmail interface. That way you'd always have a backup.
