conversion format for movies on Aria

I am currently using RockPlayer and the defaulted video player that comes with CM6 Froyo. I use Aimersoft DRM Media Converter to remove DRM from my digital copies of movies that I would like to play on my Aria (I travel a lot and use my time on the plane watching flix)
Anyway Aimersoft comes with a set of converted formats for Android phones (HTC droid, Hero, G2, Tattoo, T-Mobile, Motorola Cliq, Droid, Samsung i7500) but of course does not list the Aria as a supported device.
What is the best format to convert these movies to that will play on the Aria?

It plays mp4-H264-VIDEO really well.Do some searching there are programs that can convert to this format.
