Hello,

Now after so many days of trial and error...

I have finally managed to get a working CWM on the phone.

I have tested it to a certain extent.. Works fine on my phone but if you do find any bugs let me know and I will try to fix them.

Before you download. Let me tell you that I am not a developer, I am just a beginner and I had to spend 3 weeks to get this working.

I would request you all to not post it on other sites and forums... You can post links to this thread..

Credit: itzmiandy for creating CWM. I have just created an installer.

Created an easy Installer for CWM.
Those who find it difficult for flashing through fastboot.

Steps:

1 Load all MMX drivers on ur pc which we call adb drivers.
2 Setup fastboot mode on your handset

Setting up fastboot:

Turn Device off
Volume Down button + Power ON button for 10 Sec
This will show fastboot mode is on.
(If ADB Drivers not installed, kindly do so by checking device manager if it shows some yellow esclamation)

3 Download and install cwm
How to Install CWM?

Extract all files from zip
U will see file named Install CWM.bat.
Run that file and now plug MMX A87 to usb cable (it must be in fastboot mode as we did before)
Follow instructions on the dos screen to make it load cwm recovery.
Your Mobile will reboot after installation is finished

is that necessary that ROm manger shold be same version as CWM of phone?

@itzmiandy i m sorry to post here.. bt it seems A56 shuld also get CWM
So i have posted here .. U can delete my post..
Bt please as u have made recovery for A87 since i think same board as A56..
Plz if u can guide me to port or U can port us..
V have cwm for A56 bt itz nly seen in DDMS.. bt nt in lcd of mobile..
I think UI is connected with poweronlight file located in recovery..
So please if u can guide me .. we all will b very helpful for u

when in recovery menu press the volume rocker 3 times up and down
then u will see a text like BACK MENU IS ENABLED
