Root Cyanogenmod 7.2 problem

I just put CyanogenMod 7.2 on my EVO and love it except the fact that I can not log into my gmail account to get my contacts and such. Any ideas?

You may have to flash the gapps along with CM7. I can try to find them for you, but it will take a little time...I don't run that rom, but I can try

If you can find them that would be awesome, I am getting an error message though.it says server connection can not be opened. I will try to look too. Thanks

Edit: just do a nandroid backup, I am 90% sure that those are the correct gapps

Actually one more question haha my dad also rooted and flashed the same rom his home button isn't working but I am getting textile feedback, any ideas?

The same GApps you used for reloaded will work for cm7, just fyi. Those are the universal gingerbread gapps

Perhaps a fresh download, double check the md5, wipe well, then flash.

Okay the home button worked itself out but he can't use the play store it just crashes and force closes when you start it any ideas

Try to reflash the gapps.

also you can try and wipe dalvik cache and cache as well. it usually fixes most of the small issues like that.
