your wifi config, contacts, and your apps would have all come across from your account if you'd just given things a little time. However since you restored your apps from Astro you're kinda disconnected there now. You'll find that the apps installed from Astro don't show up in your downloads list in the marketplace. Thus you won't receive update notifications for them. But hey things are working out for ya... the tap/select read as a flick/scroll is a software bug give things time to mature a little more. Android is still actually fairly new to the stage... Just look at how long it took for Apple to add MMS and copy/paste capability to their devices!
