I noticed when I set the phone down on a table it lost power. Not hard mind you, but not like it was nitroglycerin either.
I power it back up and do it again and it repeats.
I pull it and blow out the back and nothing looks bad. Alcohol the contacts and put it back in and it repeats.
I find even a gentle tap will make it repeat. I could thump the back cover like you would do someones ear in the winter and it repeats.
Oh geeze I think, now I gotta unroot and do a warranty claim
Lucky for me before I get around to that I run the battery down and use another. It will not repeat. I have 2 extended and the OE battery so I try the above with the others and it will not repeat.
I put the one I suspect as the defective unit and it repeats.
I call Verizon tech support and tell him what I found out and he has me a new one on the way. Cool!
