Delete all user data from internal / sd card after n-failed pin attempts -- Is this possible?

kind of like what the iphones/touches do? i never heard of it on the phone before... i dont even think there is a setting for it

I believe Blackberry's are capable of doing this, not sure about iPhones. I also wonder, if possible, if the phone is stolen and someone fails at the max pin attempts (or you call into t-mobile and request that) they can lock the phone and activate it's GPS to track the phone down and have the police respond to the location.
