Help Desire problems

I have a problem with my Desire. The phone was bought two days ago from Vodafone and yesterday began show some problems. When I connect to WiFi or data plan I can not download anything from the Market (download bar freezes) but i can browse on internet. On my home screen some applications starts running by themselves Sometimes i press the touch screen but the phone has no response. When change the home screen the image shakes and has no fluid motion ( not always ) . I tried hard reset but the problem persists. The phone is running 2.2. Does anyone have any idea ? Thx

I put the phone on my desk and the calculator starts runing. Happened twice.

I found the problem. It is because of the screen protection 3M Vikuiti DQC160. The touch screen responds hard. Sometimes have to press 3 times to take command.

I get this once in a while, a second or two later and the user interface becomes responsive again. I think it is in the nature of the OS.
