Paul over at MoDaCo has posted the ROM files, hopefully won't be long to get a port over. It's large, though, so it will have to run the same as the current HD ports as it won't all fit on the internal space (I don't think)

Has it got anything over the DHD roms? I suppose the resolution would be better for the desire.

Ahh Its a perfect opportunity for me to root my sister's Desire. I tried to get her on MIUI but she loves sense widgets!

Nothing available yet, this is just the source. Might be a few days yet before anything surfaces. Keep an eye on XDA

Why not get her Launcherpro Plus? It has the same widgets as HTC Sense.

I again, don't get the obesession about Sense. It's only giving me problems

Matter of taste, but for those who like Sense this is good news.

I presume any vanilla Ginger bread rom would be quicker than a sense one.

The step from 2.2 to 2.3 is definitely noticeable, I've had a performance boost and everything just works smoother. I can't wait until Fede releases the recoded version of Launcherpro, which is supposed to run a lot better. Too bad that's taking so long.

The only thing I truly like about Sense is the dialer. I know someday I will flash a vanilla rom, but I know I'd miss the dialer.

the only trouble I can see with porting a sense 2.3 ROM is the internal memory issue still unless it comes with apps2sd+ or data2sd....

I mean everyones going a lil "oh yay official sense 2.3 gingerbread soon yay" but its STILL going to have the same issue though with not pushing much app data to the SD card...so anyone STILL wanting space will only go an root it and install a custom anyway..

so lets hope this port hopefully comes with apps2sd :D

Launcherpro plus is buggy so wouldnt recommend it to her! The A2SD feature on this rom alone is a good excuse to root cos at the moment her internal memory is full its annoying her!

well ok then...I stand corrected ;)

but my point does still stand bout everyone going a lil bit nuts over the OFFICIAL gingerbread update in the coming months as it will most likely contain the Apps2SD that was in the official Froyo update which was ok...but still crap lol

we will be badgered by more people complaining bout space when they officially upgrade and not root :p

I wasn't correcting you. Just showing you it comes with a2sd, and your point about official is 100% valid and I agree completely

seems to be more idiot spam post over there then on here! lol I mean case in point...look at the widget locker themes thread that STATES no comments whatsoever.....yea...that lasted for all of I think 7 posts lol

"Go Dialer" (from the same authors as Go SMS, Go Launcher Ex and Go Contacts) has everything the Sense dialer has :)
