I've had the Acclaim ever since it came out and prior to the 2.2 update I never had this problem.
When I put my phone into "desk clock" mode and leave it sit for awhile. I'll come back to my phone and find that; first the background has gone black or mostly black and when I turn off the screen it doesn't turn back on. I tried to restart my phone when I noticed the background change was linked to the screen failure but it won't allow it. I've also noticed this happen once or twice with the youtube app as well. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?
