Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that also enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating, or any form of "pay to flash".

"Give credit and thanks where it's due!" That's something that has fueled the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....

First ROM I flashed since AOSPA. I cannot believe how fast and stable this is. Roaming indicator not an issue, after MMS fix it recognizes Boost. I have the Material theme assigned no FCs. It's even loading the majority of the Lollipop apks with no issue. You should have no need for custom kernels, everything is built into Dirty Tweaks.

Damn, I was looking foreword to trying this after work and when it should have finished downloading, it started over again. Unfortunately I've had this happen a few times with Mega along with a few bad downloads in the past. Trying again.

First off this is the best ROM I have ever usedbut I have too small problems I cannot seem to figure out first I cannot receive picture in my mms and second it randomly reboots mostly when I'm using Google Voice

Finally got it downloaded and it is pretty quick and stable. I haven't had any random reboots, but I don't use Google Voice. Unfortunately MMS doesn't work with any fix I know of and the only other thing I noticed was messaging app fc when pressing settings. Excellent ROM and I would love to see MMS working.

Finally got it downloaded and it is pretty quick and stable. I haven't had any random reboots, but I don't use Google Voice. Same problems with Official DU 8.1, no MMS and messaging app fc when clicking app settings. Must be a problem with DU itself or Omni which its based on. I haven't had any MMS problems with any CM based Roms lately now that I think about it. I had CM11 10/19 nightly, that must be what was used for this because it's dated 10/20 and there's no 10/20 CM11 nightly, anyway just tried it and MMS works.

Nah. Can't. This one's done with OmniROM source code. The only aspects of AOSPA that are applied are done by cherry picking from Paranoid (HALO and such).

That's what I assumed when I tried the official DU and found the same problems.

I don't know about messaging app fc, but MMS didn't work. SuperR's MMS fixed it though. The biggest problem with LS was no data and you had to have the lteOnCdmadevice=1 line in build.prop to get data working.

Love it bro. Pretty stable and runs really smooth. The only issue is the screen becomes unresponsive every so often but nothing a force reboot doesn't fix right up. Love all the tweaks lol

Will this rom work on a xt1032 running 4.4.2 if unlocked/rooted? I would imagine it would but wanna check before going through all that again. Just had to factory reset after trying to install 4.4.4 update after unlocking/rooting my phone.

Ok, so went for it and works great but not sure which GAPPS to install from Seraph08's site? CM11 or CM11 minimal? Pretty sure those are the right ones to choose from but not sure as the comments just above ROM link just says flash recommended GAPPS, only I do not see a link for it. Great ROM and thanks to all who are a part of making it happen, also thanks for any help
