I've looked everywhere on how to change the download directory for amazon mp3 for where the songs go when you purchase them.

I don't think there's a choice, just move the music where you want after it's loaded. I don't trust buying anything from my phone (don't want "important" passwords on my phone); I always use my PC for ordering and I select a dropbox folder to download to, then I move it where I want on any device.
