Help "Downloading.. Do not turn off target!!" keeps comingback

Hi,I've been trying to install a rom on my phone, and I what I did was on this page: theunlockr.com/2012/10/14/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-the-t-mobile-sidekick-4g/
after that, my cellphone keeps on the samsung logo, and when I connected to the pc it says that downloading... don't turn off target
is there a way that I can fix it, thank you very much

I had this happen when I entered download mode by Turning off the phone, and then holding down the volume down and home key and hitting the power button. To exit this mode I did the same thing again I held down the volume down and home buttons and then hit the power button. I think I may have hit the volume down and home buttons again before it exited. Not sure.

What happens if you pull the battery and then put it back in and turn it on? If it's a tablet do a simulated battery yank by holding power for 20ish seconds.
i see you are a profession so plz help

Has anyone consider using samsung kies here: SAMSUNG KIES
From what i seen and read was people are soft bricking your phone or stuck on updates etc....
If you can get into the Download mode/Recovery mode your in good shape. Just install kies and install the update drivers on your pc. Once that is done plug your phone in to your pc and it should acknowledge it and start the recovery. Be careful to not brick your phone using odin if you do not know what your doing or firmware/rom your using. Good luck to all here on this post. I can try to help if i can.. Dont forget to like & thanks:D

To Ryusaki
try pulling the battery and put it back in. if still the same issue try odin again to flash the recovery clockworkmod. If no progress try reinstalling the firmware since your in the download mode. You can use odin if you have the firmware or just use kies and it does it for you. Version T839UVKJ2 software update: T-Mobile Sid... | T-Mobile Support or read here for more info https://www.google.com/search?q=T83...ozilla:en-US:unofficial&client=firefox-aurora
Next time do a good research and read more forums for custom recovery for your particular phone model. good luck and cheers.
if this was useful please thank and like.

In a very similar manner to how you would root the device using Odin, except you would flash a .tar file that contains the entire stock package of firmware (Stock OS, Stock kernel, stock recovery, stock bootloader, stock radio files). It's important to know which specific model the device is (I9300, I9305, etc) and which carrier because flashing the wrong firmware file could break it worse that it already is.

I think I have done just that. Flashed wrong firmware. Is there anyway out? I am getting the same message as everyone and I just cant get it up and running. I dint take note of region identification code and model and rest of it. :( Any help will be much appreciated.

I just tried to flash stockrom and this is what I got

Hi

I am so confused now I'm ready to ditch the Tablet but i dont want to give up

I rooted my Galaxy Note 8 5120 using PhilZ touch Recovery and then installed

x note build 5

All goes well and it tells me to reboot.
It reboots to ....Downloading Do not turn off target.....
Please tell what to do next :o(
Do I connect to pc/kies/ anything? is it actually doing anything? Have i forgotten to install something? Help please!!!

I pressed the down volume and I got to this message also, I clicked on OK to continue and after I few seconds I chickened out and decided to cancel, however nothing on the phone would stop it so I pulled out the battery, thankfully the phone booted up as normal, but will there have been any files loaded somewhere because of this and if so will they do any harm and can or should they be deleted?

HI, My mobile Galaxy Note also is facing same problem. Battery died and not charging up. What need to be done now? Please help

Hello there:D
Unplug it and pull the battery
Put the battery back in and reboot.. No harm if Odin failed all attempts
