...which to choose? I've had them for about a week (gonna return one of them before 30 days...). I'm trying to like the Droid X, I really am. I like the way it feels in my hand, I like the buttons, the display is superior to my untrained eye, battery life is somewhat better than Evo...Overall, I like the way the X feels and, for the most part, the less "glitzy" UI than the Evo. BUT, it "stumbles" frequently in the form of unresponsive "login" screens and home screens. Might this be addressed in 2.2? If the Droid X weren't so "jerky" in the UI, it would be my choice. I've tried the hard reset option.
In (on) the other hand, It feels like I am able to do and get to things quicker on the Evo, and compared to X's UI, I like the dark feel of the Sense UI and widgets. Apps seem more "integrated". I've conditioned the battery (in both) and the Evo is lasting much longer than the first day or two. I've never experienced any "hiccups" in the responsiveness of the UI (running 2.2). I'm nitpicking, but I like the black Notification Bar on the Evo and how it hides when in the browser app. I also like the little notification area on the Evo "login" screen.
But I like the way the X feels
