I'm asking about tablets (is there a Tablet forum? I can't seem to find it if it is there.

Thinking about the HTC Flyer 1.5 vs the Samsung Galaxy 8.9

I know both are not yet out but if you have some feedback I'd appreciate it.

I've had a Desire for a year and very satisfied with it but I'm looking for something to replace my laptop on a very long (3 month) trip.

With thanks in advance.

It depends on whether android apps are actually optimized for dual core applications. On windows, many older software would run much faster on a single core than a duo core for the same price. I know that some of the more famous apps (fruit ninja, gameloft games, etc.) are optimized for multi threading, but I am not sure about the app that everyone uses all the time, namely the launchers.
