Root Facebook Integration

Newbie
Not being rude, just making it short and sweet:

DL30=no issues.

EB01=no activity when I press the FB button when trying to activate an account to sync. Twitter and Google both respond.

Help?
 
Facebook app (not in browser), click the menu touch button, settings...at the bottom change Don't Sync to Sync All.

When I did mine it took about 5 minutes to show up. Open up one of your contacts you are friends with on FB, it should have an option to go to their profile and show their latest status update.

oh wow they did show up! Now i just need to get their last names in! what happens if they have the same first and last name?
 
just one problem........ how come when i try to link a contact i can't do a search? Like if i name them something in my contact list then try to link them with their facebook account previously i could just do a search and now it won't work. I need to be able to do this if the name's differ between google and facebook.
 
I have all my contacts sync'd to google so to have none on internal phone memory.

I sync'd fb and have fb pics in contacts (except for those that have gtalk pics?), but when I call or contact calls me, no picture shows up on "dialing" or "incoming"?

Almost like google pic is overriding FB pic even if no google pic???
 
Not to thread-jack from Sheriff but am I the only one not on FB :o
I know quite a bit about the old SF but when it comes to all the FB stuff I have to remain mute since I dont use or even had a FB

That was my experience as well....maybe a bug in the current EB01 builds?
 
the facebook app and eb01 just don't play nice. I stopped using it and just created a shortcut in my browser for the rare chance I actually want to use it. I have just about stopped using facebook at all.
