Root FM Radio on AOKP?

Are there any roms that are AOKP 4.1.2 based that can use the HTC FM Radio app?
If not how hard would it be to get it to work?

As far as I'm aware, no. The only one that's available for non-Sense ROM's is Spirit FM Radio which you can find in the Play Store. I tried it and couldn't get any sound to come through my headphones or speaker but the tuner worked as it scrolled through the different stations that were available.

I had the same experience with Spirit FM free.

If you search the thread for that app on XDA for my posts you will see that I spent quite a bit of time with the developer trying to get it working on AOKP and was unsuccessful. He releases new versions pretty often so I try the latest periodically, but none have worked on AOSP ROM's thus far and Sense ROM's for the Evo 3D/V already have a working FM radio from HTC.

Yeah, I wish I knew the answer, but I don't.

AFAICT, the audio is what I've called "qdsp5v2 + AIC3254", same as MANY HTC devices that work, like Desire HD, or even OneV.

The SOC is MSM8660 though; a rarety in HTC devices (meaning I don't have any similar device among my 9 HTC phones). And perhaps the 8660 is responsible for some difference.
