Follow a technological career??

Hey all,
I will be a freshman in a 4 year university this fall and Im currently going to be pursuing business. I work pretty well with numbers, but one thing I really enjoy is technology. I seem to be alot more gifted than most people I know (around my age) but I dont really know anything about a career involving technology.. Should I wait to get into college and look around for different options or try to pursue it? Just looking for a little input from anyone but especially those involved with a technological career.. Maybe im being too broad? feedback is greatly appreciated!

Possibly.. I have to look into different possible career options though..
