Foxfi won't work on new phone.

I just got the HTC One SV for boost mobile. Of course being Boost Mobile the hotspot is not preloaded. I didn't think it was a problem because I already knew about foxfi and had purchased to full version on my old phone ( Samsung Galaxy Prevail). But now, foxfi/pdanet will not work. I have updated so I have the latest update on foxfi/pdanet. I spoke to customer service who told me to use USB tether or Bluetooth to connect. That would be wonderful, except I'm trying to connect my ps3. Does anyone know of another hotspot app that does not require root, or any other ideas? I'm having Doctor Who withdrawals and would love my Netflix back. Haha.
