Hey, i just updated to 2.3.5 JVS. No problems as of now.

Is it official Update?

Is the GPS working fine for you? PPL have reported issues with GPS.

GPS was always an issue on the Galaxy S, but most seem to to be alright now, at least I see allot less about it so either they fixed it or people got bored of moaning about it.

The Galaxy S GPS seems fixed once the phone is updated to Froyo.

Hey any1 please guide me, does Galaxy S i9003 support HD games? also if it support skype video calling??
i am not a tech freak yet n know no much abt it.. please help.. plus i want to buy an android n aim to buy Galaxy S i9003, what recommendations (if any)???

I don't know what you mean by HD games. The Galaxy S should support quite a number of games. The i9003 is the same phone as the i9000 except it uses SLCD instead of Super AMOLED.

If you can afford it though, why not get a Galaxy S2 instead. Its quite a bit more powerful and faster, and the larger screen makes it easier to play some games.

galaxy s2 is expensive, out of range.. so its difficult at the moment.
is SLCD a better result or super AMOLED??
by HD games i mean High Resolution games, i played on a friend's HTC Sensation.. plus are their any drawback with i9003?? and any other cell phone suggestion in the range of i9003??

I have i9003 and yes it can play hd games. However available titles are limited compared to an i9000. For example, grave hd and raging thunder 2 and space blitz are playable, but nfs shift is listed as.incompatible. If you are into mobike gaming, go for i9000.

As for slcd and samoled, samoled provides more vibrant colors.
