My galaxy S2 thinks the usb is connected when it isnt. I get the MTP connected symbol at the top of the phone even when nothing is plugged in.
When i go into the USB utilies mode and press connect to storage the phone displays the message that the usb is connected and i should remove it.
Also when I charge the battery it says that it is fully charged despite the fact that it was at 80% and only on charge for 5 minutes, when I reboot the phone it then says teh battery is at 83%, i plug in the charger, it charges for 5 mins and then says that it is fully charged again.
I also get a spurious temperature warning when i turn the phone off (i think this is because the phone thinks that the USB cable is in but registers no power supply into the battery)
I have rooted it ages ago so have voided any warranty that I may have had. Had the phone since June 2011
