Galaxy S24 Series

I have word that the 2nd beta of One UI 7 Android 15 will begin rolling out December 16th. There are a few hiccups in the beta, but they're largely minor annoyances and nothing critical.

UPDATE: Right on schedule, beta 2 is out - this is the most incredibly smooth beta I've ever tested, and I would be surprised if there are more than 3 betas before the final rollout next month.

Got $150 "any condition" trade-in discount on the new OnePlus 13. Supposedly has the brightest screen out there (very important since I am outside a lot), 6000 mah battery. Has to be better than the connectivity of my S24 Ultra, which has deteriorated horribly.

Beta 3 or One UI 7? One UI 7, running Android 15, changes a LOT. In fact, the Samsung Members Beta Community is GONE - leaving me no doubt that the official rollout is imminent!

That was the plan... but for the beta program to end after only 3 betas? That's how incredibly smooth this beta was. Members were discussing small things and very few of them in Beta 3 - so I'm not surprised that the next version will be the final, signed firmware.

UPDATE: The beta community is back. Apparently it was a technical glitch. However, I'm still confident that the final version is imminent.

Nothing. In fact, it was more of an AI infomercial than anything else. Even Marquis Brownlee said that there is nothing - NOTHING - really new or innovative about the S25/Ultra. In fact, Samsung removed the Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen. Unless there's a way to scroll capture without that, it's a complete show-stopper for a lot of people... including me.
 
I've had the S24 Ultra. Discovered that, for me, the S-Pen was mostly unused over the past year. And given a few incurable glitches and annoyances that Sammy won't address, and after the One+ 13R debacle, I ordered the S25+. Should arrive today or Monday and I hope the prior S24 glitches disappear.
