This is an update.zip not a metamorph so please follow the instructions or you will get boot loopz.

HOW TO FLASH
1. Boot into recovery and make a backup.
2. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.
3. Flash from SD Card (put it on the root of your sd card if you are using amonra)
4. Reboot and be patient.

Sidenote: Thanks to Killertonez for making this all possible. He edited a lot of things I had no idea where to find such as the color of the text in the menu popups.

Installed the V8 file (since i'm still on V8) and it looks really cool, but for some reason the time doesn't show up on my phone in the upper right corner. Tried flashing twice and it did the same thing both times. Going to try all the other files and see if I have any luck with those. Hope to make it work because I like the black theme and the icons.

I used the same services.jar for every one of the update.zip's not sure how this is possible. Anyone else having this issue?

Could be me. I'm a dummy with this stuff, but I did make sure to wipe the two caches before both attempts so I don't think I missed any steps. Was I supposed to rename the file to update.zip before flashing. I didn't, so maybe that's what the problem is. I may open up the .apk file and see what color the numbers are just to make sure they are white\light grey like the picture.

Everything else works\looks great though, just so you know.

mine worked fine, with the steps listed. i didn't rename anything.

+++ actually i did it in the Froyo ROM, sorry.

The apk has nothing to do with the clock, the clock is services.jar.

So, this is just a theme, right?

If I have a Metamorph theme already installed, would I need to uninstall it first?

no it is a .zip, you dont apply it via metamorph. you go to your recovery screen, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and then apply .zip from sd card. i am not sure if you have toi have a stock theme flashed before.

This completely replaces your framework and over writes any current themes.

But it's just a theme/skin, right? This doesn't change anything about the OS version does it (meaning, we still run 2.1)?

Also, I have Velocity v.2 installed - Am I SOL?

Nice work.
But when I flashed on Velocity .4 the Slide to Unlock buttons are both facing upward as apposed to sideways.

I'm jealous. I wish I knew why it wasn't working for me but I just can't get the clock to show. Still using it though because I have a widget that displays the time anyways, but I would love to figure out what is wrong. These kind of little quirks bug me tremendously.

Someone told you why its not working already. Please read up.

Followed the directions exactly, and I'm getting the boot loop.

The zip flashed super fast, though, if that means anything.

If you mean the deodexed thing, yeah I read it, but how does that help me figure out why it's not working. You seem to be under the assumtion that everyone has the same technical knowledge as you. I have no idea what deodexed means.
