Help Gmail "Sign-In" keeps failing on my phone?

It just started doing it out of the blue this morning. No changes have been made to my phone. I did clear the cache, but that was a couple of days ago...it's been working fine since. Until this morning, I mean. I've tried restarting the phone, switching WiFi, turning off WiFi, and resetting my password. None of that worked. Any ideas what might have caused this, and more importantly, how to fix it?

Having same issue since this morning and have made no changes whatsoever. Have tried changing password on Google to no avail and am at a loss how to get Gmail going on S3 again...

As with BSBHVR2 any advice on solution appreciated.

Load the YouTube app and sign in with your Gmail account there

Thanks but that's a work around and in fact, have Gmail App on phone which works fine but if I want my Gmail and Exchange mail to show in S3 mail app Gmail no longer works for no apparent reason ;-/

Yep, was a problem signing in on the PC for G-Mail. It is their side.

Is Play Store working? Think i changed my password once and had to add a new account with that password to the phone for play store to work again

I've used it a few times this morning and downloaded an app. No issues for me.
