My problem relates to the “EMAIL” App on my Samsung J5 phone.
Previously I used this “EMAIL” App to connect to my gmail.com email account.
This “EMAIL” App stopped receiving my gmail emails last week.
I removed the account & tried to re establish it, but it won’t connect to Gmail (either automatically or manually). All I get is the message “unable to connect to server to verify your account information”
(1) Why is this happening - why won’t gmail connect?
(2) Is this “EMAIL” App on my J5 phone one of the Android (third party) apps that Gmail considered wasn’t secure & has been locked out by gmail/google?
