Help Google Account not setting

Hi to all, i just got this X10 mini........ i try to install ndtv gadget but it goes to market and have to log in Google, for the last two days i tried a lot but it is not connected..........i read in some thread, goto contacts and add account, i tried a lot, in this also am not able to connect........... but when i browse gmail its coming............some solution...........
