https://github.com/TeamRegular/twrp_device_lge_h631 unfortunately the boost version is locked down. My laptop is down but this is the source I wrote that compiled and booted twrp. If someone compiles that it should work with fixed colors.

It's a custom recovery for android devices. From there we can flash various zips , the main use is for flashing custom ROMs and backing up your device.

I believe that dosent work like that because of the device tree and different architecture of the phone but I think its possible to use it as comparison.

well seems like thanks to @Unjustified Dev from XDA now we have a Full working Custom Recovery (TWRP) i tested mine (TMobile Variant) and Back-up / Restore works which is my main thing plus flashing files work as well.

seems like this Custom Recovery works with Metro Variant but NOT with Boost and as usual flash recovery on you own risk.

just to clarified this if you have a BOOST Stylo DON'T flash this it will brick or mess up your device this is just for T-Mobile/Metro Devices

so far been known for this device to stay away from Xposed for now, last time someone from XDA ([fix-this!) flash Xposed and he brick the phone so till further notice i just recommend not to flash Xposed fro now

It doesn't work on any LG lollipop devices the libs xposed install crash some LG apps. If you search Google for LG xposed lollipop, you will find a thread on xda for a workaround zip.

What carrier are you with? I'm on Boost, I think we are the only ones without custom recovery but we do have root! WooHooo
