Root [H631/MS631] CyanogenMod 12.1 for LG G Stylo

I came up with that fix. It works but the cpu only goes to 800mhz at the lowest and that kills the battery. Also it randomly reboots I also need the camera and video recording and I can't seem to get either. Sucks because other than that I love it.

Hmm, the new build with stock everything also doesn't go below 800mhz. As far as the camera, maybe trying the band aid zip on the XDA thread? And for video recording apps like Cinema4K and Horizon work.

Okay cool I'll try that out when I have some time. I'm super dependent on my phone for work so it's kinda hard to find time to test builds out. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah no problem, my father has an older Stylo but rooting and roms aren't his thing. Hope that works out for you

The one thing that's made me almost throw my phone at a wall are the stupid phantom touches I only ever get when I disable the nav bar and use something else to navigate, its so annoying because I love not having it there taking up space but I can't use my phone properly with the phantom touches.

Sucks you can't have that and Snapchat at the same time lol I know there was a way to have both but you have to use a really old Snapchat I think, can't really remember

Does amplify do you much good? I keep getting pretty good battery life, never really gave those apps much thought

yes and no, depends if you are the type that turns off data, wifi, rotation.. stuff like that if so you don't need it

So i have been running this for about a year with no issues, but today i restarted my phone and now it just keeps on restarting over and over. It'll go through the optimizing apps step, go through all of my apps, then boot to the lock screen, then vibrate and restart. Help lease, i have never had this problem

Did you install any new apps recently ?

Yeah I have installed a couple apps here and there. But I dont know how to boot into recovery to format or reflash or anything.

Yeah I have a backup somewhere on my computer. I could honestly care less about my apps and all that though. I just need to know how to boot into recovery on startup so i can reflash a new rom or backup

Okay then just hold vol down and power with the phone off. Then when you see the lg logo let go of power while still holding vol down and press it again and hold the power down until you see recovery.

When I do this it just brings up the Factory Data Reset screen with 2 option, Yes, or No
